As the most famous face in daytime television history, Susan Lucci held audiences spellbound as the sexy, sassy, beautiful, “woman you love to hate,” Erica Kane on ABC-TV’s, ALL MY CHILDREN. In May 1999, on her 19th nomination, she won the Emmy Award for “Best Actress” -- a well-documented historic moment not only for Lucci, but for all of television. Shortly thereafter, she made her Broadway debut to rave reviews playing the part of “Annie Oakley” in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN.
Subsequently, she made her nightclub debut as she opened the season at the famed Feinstein’s at The Regency, and afterwards, toured the country with Regis Philbin. She has performed in such iconic concert halls as Carneige Hall, The Kravis Center and Heinz Hall with Marvin Hamlisch. In 2012, Susan starred in Gloria Estefan’s hit music video, HOTEL NACIONAL -- and you can see her in Sia’s new holiday music video, SANTA’S COMING FOR US.
Susan starred in the international hit Lifetime series, DEVIOUS MAIDS as the wealthy and effervescent socialite, Genevieve Delatour. In addition, she was also the host and narrator of the highly rated series, DEADLY AFFAIRS on Investigation Discovery.
Lucci has a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has been inducted into the Broadcasting Hall of Fame. She is the second woman in the history of the Columbus Day parade to serve as Grand Marshal – the first was Sophia Loren. She is proud to serve as an Ambassador for the newly established National Women’s Museum in Washington, DC. In August 2016, she was honored with the Disney Legends Award for her contribution to Disney’s reputation for creative excellence and, Susan was also named one of E! Entertainment’s “Top Entertainers of the Year”; one of VH-1’s 200 Greatest Pop Icons coming in at number 75; one of Barbara Walters’ “Ten Most Fascinating People”; and, TV Guide has named her one of the 50 top television stars of all time.
Susan Lucci’s contributions to television and the performing arts have earned her countless prestigious industry awards and, in 2011, she released her New York Times best-selling autobiography, ALL MY LIFE.
